How do I schedule training?

Agents and upline are required to attend training before selling Philadelphia American. This is an interactive experience and will better prepare you to sell and guide your prospects based on their needs.

Can I write child only policies?

Yes, child only policies are accepted but advise your payor to expect a phone interview or email regarding the relationship.

Can I write someone with an ETIN?

Yes, however those without a social security number will get called for a phone interview from underwriting.

When will my client be effective?

You can request an effective date between the 1st to the 28th of the month.

When do I get paid?


When do I get paid?

Commissions are paid twice per week!

TUESDAY PAYDAY - This cycle will include premiums posted Wednesday through Friday.

THURSDAY PAYDAY - This cycle will include premiums posted Saturday through Tuesday.

*The cutoff for each cycle is 5:00 PM Central Time. 

Renewal premiums and new business premiums drafted or paid during the cycle will be included in the commission. 

Accumulation of $25.00 in commission is required before a check or direct deposit is issued.

Direct Deposits will be made on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Statements will be available on the website after 1:00 PM Central Time on Mondays and Wednesdays.

 If a policy is missing from your commissions, please check your Pending Business report on your Agent Portal. 

To be paid through direct deposit, download a Direct Deposit Authorization Form through your Agent Portal under the FORMS-AGENT FORMS section. 

Can I be advanced?


Yes - an Advance Form needs to be signed and returned to the PA Home Office for approval.

The form can be found in the Contracting/Licensing Licensing Forms section of your Agent Portal. A letter will be sent to you upon approval. Business submitted after the approval date will be advanced. 

How do I change my personal information?

Please provide your updated contact information if you have moved, changed your email address, or received a new phone number.

The Agent Change form for Agents can be found on your Agent Portal under Contracting/Licensing Agent Forms.

*If your state license has been recently renewed, please email a copy to us.
